Friday Night Wedding Dinner
Tyrel and Suzi arrive at the church for their wedding dinner.
After all of the decorating and preparing food we are finally ready to go. For dinner we served Hawaiian Haystacks, rolls and Banana Splits. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. Notice the awesome decorations in the pictures. Thank you Abby. I also could not have done it without the help of my girls and Aunt Julie. My lifesavers were Tammie, Kathy and Anne Marie. Thanks to you all! Rachel worked hard all night serving and clearing tables. I feel bad that I do not have a picture of her. If any of you have one, please send it to me so I can post it.
The kid's table was where all the action was. It would have been okay but they took the action throughout the church. They all had a really good time together though. These kids were later joined by Kaitlyn, Edie and Virginia. Quite a noisy bunch-- but very cute.

Ty and Suzi are thinking that maybe Clint should not have eaten so much.

A highlight of the night is when Tyrel sang "Everything" by Michael Buble to Suzi.
Suzi especially liked some of his dance moves.
Suzi read a story about the Salt Lake Temple and how it survived many difficulties as it was being built. She compared that with her and Tyrel's marriage and how they can be strong even during the difficult times. It was a beautiful thought and a perfect addition to the evening.
When we got back home Tyrel and Parker entertained us with a night before the wedding wrestling match. When Parker put on his Spiderman mask Tyrel didn't want to be outdone so he made up a mask of his own. Parker is hoping Tyrel will come home often and wrestle with him. He loves his big brother so much.Wednesday, April 23, 2008
SATURDAY MORNING AT THE TEMPLE
April 19, 2008
The day was windy so right off the bat Caroline found a little nook in the side of the temple for her own little refuge.
After a beautiful ceremony Tyrel and Suzi come out of the temple for pictures. Tyrel's face says it all.
Kayla spent her time outside the temple with all the kids. She put a flower that they gave her in her hair.
Not to be outdone......
Tyrel and Suzi stop for a hug with Rachel who also helped Kayla with all of the kids.
Thank goodness I still have a little boy at home! except for Dirk, Josh and Zach and their wives who had to leave early.
Is Jake impersonating Tyrel?
Is Jake impersonating Tyrel?
time we were taking pictures. Suzi didn't seem to notice at all.

Mckay shed a tear with me in the ceremony.
He and Ty have been friends forever.
Much needed rest....

Brian and Kayla take a much needed rest after the temple and before the reception. They have had a busy week of driving to Denver then flying to Houston to spend time with Brian's parents. Then they flew back to Denver and drove here on Friday just in time to help us with all the festivities. They were both such a great help. I'm so glad they were here.
THE RECEPTION
Brian once again helps Parker with one of his "issues." Brian also had empathy for Parker because he remembered when his sister got married when he was little and he missed her too.
Brian and Kayla were stellar greeters for all of our guests. They also worked as security over the presents (or so that's what they tell me) :)
Abby made the fun and unique centerpieces. We used these for the wedding dinner too. Abby received lots of compliments.
Uncle Parker and nephew Clay. At the wedding dinner they sang "Tyrel and Suzi sitting in the tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G..."
Lydia and Kaitlyn love each other so much. What fun little granddaughters!! Abby's mom made the skirts for all of the little girls. A huge thank you to Janet!!
Little girls don't come any cuter than this! Caroline was just dancing by herself and I had to get a picture. I wish it was a video because her dancing was so darn cute.
Brian and Kayla on the dance floor. I love this picture of them. I wonder what he is telling her.(Probably that there will be no smushing of the cake in the face)
Later in the evening these two would stay up with me and Rachel and make us laugh harder than we have for a long time. It was a fun way to end the night and easier than going home and sitting in Tyrel's room and having a good cry. Thanks you two - you sure can be pretty funny.
